We can’t wait to bring a little extra magic and chocolate to your big day!

Yes, many of our chocolate products at Ablan contain dairy ingredients, such as milk, cream, milk fat, and other milk derivatives. These ingredients are essential to achieving the rich, creamy texture and flavor that define our handcrafted chocolates.

Because of this, if you have a dairy allergy or severe lactose intolerance, we strongly recommend that you do not consume Ablan products, as even trace amounts could trigger a reaction.

While we take great care in our production process, cross-contamination with dairy ingredients is possible, even in products that may not list dairy as a main component.

Your health and safety are extremely important to us. If you have any specific dietary needs or questions about our ingredients, please feel free to reach out to our team we’re always happy to assist you.

No, Ablan chocolate products do not contain any alcohol whatsoever. We take great pride in ensuring that all our chocolates are made using ingredients that are 100% Halal and suitable for individuals who follow Islamic dietary laws.

At Ablan Chocolatier, our commitment to quality goes hand in hand with our respect for cultural and religious values. That’s why we source only the finest ingredients, including premium Callebaut chocolate, and we make sure that none of our recipes involve the use of alcohol, alcohol-based flavorings, or any non-Halal substances.

Every product is carefully crafted to meet the highest standards of safety, purity, and Halal compliance. Whether you are choosing our chocolates for yourself, your family, or as a gift, you can enjoy them with complete peace of mind knowing they are alcohol-free, Halal-certified, and made with integrity.

Your trust is important to us, and we’re proud to be a brand you can count on for delicious, ethical, and Halal chocolate experiences.

At Ablan Chocolatier, we understand that many of our customers are mindful of allergens and dietary sensitivities, including gluten. While some of our products may naturally not contain gluten-based ingredients, we work with a wide variety of ingredients and inclusions in our kitchen  such as biscuits, wafers, and other gluten-containing components.

Because of this, we cannot guarantee that our chocolates are completely gluten-free. Although we take great care in our preparation and hygiene practices, there is always a risk of cross-contamination, especially in a facility where gluten-containing ingredients are handled.

If you have a gluten allergy or sensitivity, we recommend exercising caution and consulting with us directly about specific products. We’re always happy to provide more information and help guide you to the safest options available.

Your safety and satisfaction are important to us, and we appreciate your understanding.

At Ablan Chocolatier, we take great pride in the quality and richness of our products. However, most of our chocolates are made with dairy-based ingredients such as milk, cream, and butter—essential components that contribute to the smooth, indulgent flavor that defines our creations.

Because of this, our current range of products is not suitable for a vegan diet. We do not offer vegan-friendly options at this time, as none of our chocolates are free from animal-derived ingredients.

We understand the growing demand for plant-based alternatives, and we are always exploring new ideas and formulations to meet our customers’ evolving preferences. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we hope to expand our offerings in the future.

If you follow a vegan lifestyle and have any questions or suggestions, we’d love to hear from you.

At Ablan Chocolatier, we use a wide variety of premium, world-class ingredients to create our handcrafted chocolates. Because of this diversity and our dedication to flavor, texture, and creativity many of our products either contain nuts and/or peanuts as ingredients or are made in an environment where these allergens are present.

Even if a specific product does not list nuts or peanuts as a direct ingredient, we cannot guarantee it is completely nut-free, as cross-contamination is possible during the production process. This includes traces of hazelnuts, almonds, pistachios, and other nut varieties commonly used in gourmet chocolate making.

If you have a nut allergy or sensitivity, we strongly advise caution and recommend reaching out to us directly for more information about the specific product you're interested in. Your safety is very important to us, and we are always happy to help guide you to the best choices.

Ablan is committed to transparency and customer care, ensuring you always know what goes into every bite.

Yes, we are delighted to share that most Ablan chocolate products are suitable for vegetarians. We take great care in selecting high-quality ingredients that align with a variety of dietary preferences, including vegetarian diets.

The only ingredients of animal origin used in some of our products include milk, milk derivatives (such as cream and milk fat), eggs, and honey all of which are generally accepted in a vegetarian lifestyle. However, we do not use meat, gelatin, or animal rennet in any of our chocolate creations.

Please note that a few of our praline varieties may contain shellac, a natural resin sometimes used as a glazing agent, which some vegetarians may choose to avoid.

As always, we strongly recommend checking the ingredient list on the packaging of each individual product for the most accurate and up-to-date information. If you have any specific concerns or questions, our team is always happy to assist.

At Ablan, we are committed to transparency, quality, and inclusivity so you can enjoy your chocolate with confidence and peace of mind.

To fully enjoy the smooth texture and rich flavor of Ablan chocolate, it's important to bring it back to room temperature gradually after it’s been stored in the fridge or freezer.

Here’s how to do it properly:

  • Keep the chocolate sealed in its original packaging or place it in a plastic bag or airtight container. This prevents moisture from forming on the surface due to condensation.

  • Let it sit at room temperature without opening the packaging until it has fully adjusted.

    • If the chocolate was stored in the refrigerator, allow approximately 2 hours.

    • If it was stored in the freezer, allow at least 6 hours for it to come to temperature safely.

Avoid unwrapping the chocolate too soon, as sudden exposure to warm air can lead to moisture build-up, which may cause sugar bloom and affect texture and appearance.

Taking this extra step ensures your chocolate remains as perfect and indulgent as the moment it was made.

The ideal temperature for storing chocolate is between 14°C and 16°C. Chocolate is sensitive to temperature and humidity, and improper storage can affect its texture and appearance.

While it’s best to avoid refrigerating chocolate, we understand that in warmer climates it may be necessary. Refrigerators typically have high humidity, which can cause sugar bloom a white, powdery coating that forms when moisture dissolves the sugar on the surface.

If you do need to refrigerate your chocolate, we recommend the following steps:

  • Wrap it tightly in plastic wrap or place it in an airtight container to protect it from moisture and odors.

  • Store it in the bottom section of the fridge, where the temperature is more stable.

  • Before enjoying, allow the chocolate to return to room temperature slowly ideally by letting it sit (still wrapped) for several hours. Unwrapping too soon can cause condensation on the chocolate’s surface.

Proper storage ensures your chocolate stays smooth, glossy, and delicious just the way it was meant to be.

At Ablan Chocolatier, we are proud to craft our products using premium-quality chocolate sourced from one of the world’s most respected chocolate producers. The cocoa beans used in our chocolate are carefully selected and sustainably sourced from regions known for their rich cocoa heritage, including West Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.

Our chocolate supplier maintains direct relationships with cocoa farmers and cooperatives to ensure ethical practices, fair trade, and long-term sustainability. These beans are expertly fermented, dried, and roasted to bring out the full depth of flavor and aroma the foundation of the smooth, rich chocolate we use in every Ablan creation.

By using this world-class chocolate, we ensure that each piece you enjoy reflects not only exceptional craftsmanship, but also a commitment to responsible sourcing and global quality standards.

At Ablan Chocolatier, we are deeply committed to ethical and sustainable practices, especially when it comes to the sourcing of our cocoa beans — the heart of every chocolate we craft.

We use premium chocolate sourced from a trusted global supplier that is actively involved in supporting cocoa farmers and protecting the environment. The cocoa used in our chocolates is responsibly sourced through a program that focuses on:

  • Improving the livelihoods of cocoa farming communities

  • Eliminating child labor and promoting safe working conditions

  • Supporting education and women’s empowerment

  • Protecting biodiversity and regenerating forest landscapes

This program ensures that cocoa is 100% sustainably sourced, and traceable back to farmer groups that follow ethical and environmentally sound farming practices.

By choosing high-quality chocolate from a supplier that invests directly in cocoa-growing communities and sustainable agriculture, Ablan supports a better future for both people and the planet—while delivering the exceptional taste our customers know and love.

At Ablan Chocolatier, palm oil, palm kernel oil, and their fractions are used in very limited amounts, and only in select chocolate fillings where they are essential for achieving the right texture, melting properties, and neutral flavor.

We source our chocolate from a trusted global supplier and, as a result, Ablan accounts for less than 0.01% of the world’s total palm oil consumption. While palm oil has its functional benefits, we are fully aware of the environmental and social concerns linked to unsustainable palm oil production — such as deforestation, biodiversity loss, and negative impacts on local communities and Indigenous Peoples.

However, palm oil can be a sustainable and efficient crop when cultivated responsibly. Compared to other vegetable oils like soybean, sunflower, or rapeseed, palm oil requires significantly less land to produce the same volume — making it one of the most land-efficient oil crops globally. Simply replacing it with other oils could lead to even greater pressure on the world’s forests and ecosystems.

For these reasons, Ablan is committed to supporting responsible palm oil production. We only use palm oil that is certified by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), ensuring that it meets rigorous environmental and ethical standards. In Europe, this means RSPO’s Segregated traceability level, and in the U.S., a combination of Segregated and Mass Balance standards.

We are also fully transparent: all palm oil usage is clearly labeled on our product packaging, so you can make informed choices with confidence.
